Founding Partner Professor Dr Nayla Comair-Obeid has been nominated Companion of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

Previously, Prof. Comair-Obeid served as President of the CIArb (2017-2018), Vice-President and Deputy President of the CIArb (2015-2016) and as Chair of the CIArb’s Board of Trustees (2014). 

Prof. Dr. Nayla Comair-Obeid has been elected as one of the only five Companions of the Institute this year, a status only given to distinguished and renowned members of the CIArb. Prof. Comair-Obeid has earned her status through her continuous influence on the Institute as well as numerous and profound contributions to the development of International Dispute Resolution. As a Companion of the CIArb, Prof. Comair-Obeid will continue to represent the goals of the Institute while “rendering significant assistance in promoting the Object”, a ranking typically limited to 10 notable individuals.
