Despina Apostolidou
Despina is a dispute resolution lawyer with extensive experience in international commercial arbitration and complex court litigation proceedings in a wide range of civil, commercial and corporate disputes. She has experience in private international law and international dispute resolution across a range of sectors, including construction, energy and natural resources, retail and consumer goods.
Despina has acted as counsel in high-stake international commercial arbitrations (institutional and ad hoc) as well as in arbitration-related court proceedings, including proceedings for the annulment of arbitral awards. Her experience includes also negotiation, drafting and advising state-owned entities and private parties in the context of construction and complex commercial contracts before arbitral tribunals and in non-contentious matters.
Despina holds a BA and an LLM in civil procedure law. She is a member of the Athens Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Greece. She is fluent in Greek and English and has a working knowledge of French.
