How to Get Your First Appointment as an Arbitrator

We are delighted to announce that our Partner Dr. Zeina Obeid will be speaking at the “How to Get Your First Appointment as an Arbitrator” event alongside distinguished speakers: Olena Voronovych,  Maria Mazzawi (FCIArb), Victor Leginsky FCIArb CArb, and Iryna Akulenka FCIArb, on 10 February 2022, 4pm- 5:30pm, at DIAC’s venue.

The event will be moderated by the CIArb UAE Branch committee member and an aspiring arbitrator Kasia Halliday, who will explore the speakers’ personal experiences as first-time arbitrators or when appointing first-time arbitrators. This event will aim to to discuss tangible steps that can be taken to improve the rate of first-time arbitrators’ appointments and, as a result to promote more diversity.
